The Nihilist

The Nihilist was born out of a project to design and create a board for our friend Alex Pons who is now residing in the moody shores of Spains northern Atlantic coast.

The objective was to build a board that would perform in various conditions, and the result was a complex looking design that translates into an incredibly easy and intuitive board to surf. With a slightly fuller curve to accomodate wave entry and to generate speed effortlessly, this design features two incuts at the height of the front fins allowing the surfer to turn on a closed radius. The nose rocker is moderate, to maintain volume where its needed but curved enough to allow the board to be reactive enough.
